This vintage Fender Telecaster Custom plays and sounds great! This one is an earlier example dates back to 1973 and is equipped with the original Seth Lover design CuNiFe Fender Wide Range Humbucker in the neck position. The bridge pickup is also original and has since been professionally re-wound by Lindy Fralin himself, he re-wound it to be hot in order to nicely match the Wide Range humbuckers, and he did a fantastic job. This guitar has been well taken care of over the many years of play and looks incredible!
This guitar has aged beautifully! It shows normal cosmetic wear for its age that includes various scratches and other blemishes throughout as you would expect for a vintage instrument. The hardware shows normal patina that is also consistent with aging. The frets play great along the neck and the truss rod still has plenty of room to turn in both directions. All of the electronics work as they should.
This guitar has had a re-fret and a few pots replaced with a few solder points touched up. The original frets are included inside the OHSC. This guitar otherwise is otherwise original.
